FAQs
Drying depends on cleaning method, ventilation, and carpet type. We share realistic drying guidance as part of the quote and visit notes.
Some stains can be improved significantly, but results depend on stain type, age, and fibre. We set expectations after inspection and recommend add-ons when appropriate.
Light walking in socks is usually fine within a couple of hours, but the carpet can stay damp for several hours after that. Keep shoes, heavy traffic and furniture off until it is fully dry, and open windows or run a fan to speed things up. We give you drying guidance for your rooms before we leave.
For most carpets we use hot water extraction, often called steam cleaning, which flushes dirt from the pile and draws most of the moisture back out. Delicate or natural-fibre items may need a lower-moisture method instead. We confirm the approach after inspecting the fibre and condition.
Yes. We use cleaning products suited to the fibre and extract them during the clean, so once the carpet is dry it is safe for children and pets. Keep them off the area until it has fully dried to avoid slips on damp flooring and marks on the fresh pile.
