It's from £16 an hour with a minimum booking, which suits a single room or a tidy-up after a small job. For a whole renovation or a new build we'd rather quote on the job once we know the size and how dusty it is, so you get one figure up front.
Builders' dust is fine and hangs in the air for hours, so it resettles after the first clean. On a big job we clean, let it settle, then go back over the surfaces, and sometimes a short second visit a few days later is the honest answer. That's factored into the quote.
No, clearing rubble and offcuts is the builder's job. We deal with the dust, haze, paint specks and the mess left behind, not bags of plasterboard or a skip's worth of debris. If building waste is still on site we can only work around it.
Once the trades are finished and tools and materials are off site. We can't clean properly around ongoing work, and fresh dust undoes what we've done, so the clean goes in at the end.
