Scope

What's included

We work to a fixed room-by-room list so nothing gets skipped on the day. Tell us the property size and how long since the last proper clean and we'll scope it.

  • Behind and under appliances pulled out where they move (fridge, washing machine, cooker)
  • Extractor, hob and splashback degreased, including the filter where it lifts out
  • Skirting boards, door tops, frames and light switches wiped down
  • Limescale taken off taps, tiles, shower screens and grout in the bathrooms
  • Inside cupboards and drawers emptied and wiped (where you've cleared them first)

Extras

Optional add-ons

Request these in your quote. All priced within the same booking.

  • Inside oven deep clean
  • Internal windows, sills and frames
  • Carpet cleaning by room
  • Inside the fridge or freezer (defrosted first)
  • Inside-cupboard clean where you'd rather not empty them yourself

Scope limits

What's not included

So there are no surprises, here is what sits outside the standard clean. Several of these can be added on request.

  • Outside windows above the ground floor, which need access equipment
  • Carpet and upholstery steam cleaning, unless you add it room by room
  • Mould treatment beyond wiping it off the surface; spreading damp needs a specialist
  • Clearing clutter, rubbish or belongings so we can reach the surfaces
  • Washing down whole walls and ceilings; we spot-clean marks, not full repaints' worth
  • Gardens, patios, decking, garages and other outside areas
  • Pressure washing, jet washing or anything needing a powered outdoor rig
  • Pest issues, drain clearing or any work that is a trade job, not cleaning

Common problems

Typical issues we tackle

  • Grease and dust you can't see, on top of cupboards, behind the cooker, on the extractor
  • Limescale that's built up on taps, screens and tiles over months
  • Skirting boards, frames and switch plates that a weekly clean never reaches
  • Grime in cupboard corners, window tracks and behind appliances
  • Soap scum and product residue clouding shower screens and tile
  • Dust settled on the tops of wardrobes, doors and high shelves

Typical timings

How long it takes

These are typical market timings as a rough guide, not our quote. A property that has been let go, or one with several bathrooms, sits at the top of the range or beyond, since each extra bathroom adds the best part of an hour.

Property sizeTypical time
Studio or 1-bed flataround 3 to 5 hours
2-bed flat or housearound 4 to 7 hours
3-bed housearound 6 to 9 hours
4-bed housemost of a day, sometimes two visits
5-bed or largera full day, often a larger team

Pricing factors

What affects the quote

No fixed prices. Scope, condition, and access all feed into the final figure.

  • 01Property size, mainly bedrooms and bathrooms
  • 02How long since the last deep clean, and how much has built up
  • 03Add-ons like the oven, internal windows or carpets
  • 04Access and parking, and whether appliances can be moved

3 steps

How it works

  1. 01Send the property size, rough condition and what you want covered, and we'll quote on scope.
  2. 02We confirm the price and a time slot before booking, no surprise charges on the day.
  3. 03A small team works through the room-by-room list and gives the place a final walk-round before leaving.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a deep clean and a regular clean?

A regular clean keeps on top of the surfaces you use every day. A deep clean is a one-off reset that gets to everything underneath, behind the appliances, the extractor, the skirting, the grout, inside the cupboards, the stuff a weekly tidy never touches. It takes longer because we're working a fixed room-by-room list rather than a quick once-over.

How much does a deep clean cost?

There's no flat rate, because a tidy one-bed and a four-bed that's not been done in a year are very different jobs. We quote on the property size, the condition, how much has built up and the access, then confirm the price before you book. No charge gets added on the day.

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?

If you want the insides of cupboards and drawers done, clear them first so we can get at the surfaces, or ask us to add that to the job. Otherwise nothing. We bring our own kit and products.

Can you move the fridge and other appliances?

Where they pull out safely and there's room, yes, we'll get behind and under them. Some are plumbed in or wedged in tight, and we won't force anything that risks damaging a floor or a connection. Tell us what you've got and we'll say what's reachable.

How long does a deep clean take?

Depends on the size and the state of it. A small flat can be a few hours; a larger house that's been let go is most of a day. We give you a realistic time window with the quote so you can plan around it.

Are the cleaning products and equipment included?

Yes. We bring our own products, cloths, machines and the kit for descaling and degreasing, so you do not need to supply anything. If you would rather we used a specific product, for a stone worktop or a finish you are careful with, tell us when we scope the job and we will work with it.

How often should I book a deep clean?

Most homes do well with one every three to four months, or two to three times a year, on top of regular upkeep. Busy households with pets, children or a heavily used kitchen tend to want them more often. A place that is rarely used, or already cleaned weekly, might only need one a year.

Do I need to be home while you clean?

No, as long as we can get in and out and you have shown us round or left clear notes first. Plenty of people leave a key or give us access details and come back to a finished job. If you would rather be there, that is fine too.

Will a deep clean remove built-up limescale and grease?

We take off most of it. Months of limescale on taps, screens and tiles, and baked-on grease around the hob and extractor, come up well with the right products and time. What will not always lift fully is etching where limescale has pitted the surface underneath, or staining that has gone into worn grout or old enamel. We will tell you on the day what is dirt and what is permanent marking.
